I visited the gallery space last week, and due to lots of other exciting things happening in the gallery, I might have less wall space than originally anticipated. Once I got over my initial disappointment I set about selecting my own short list for the gallery. The advantage of having a sunny day accompanied by plenty of space outside my studio meant that I could lay to the various paintings that fit with the brief and select the ones most suited to the space. It's not simply about taking the "best" work, but also about looking at how the work looks together. A variety of sizes and a variety of colour is essential for this exhibition.
After selecting, I started working on my fixings. Simply D rings, cords and crimps finish off the work nicely.
Finally protecting the paintings for transit.
