Back in January I posted a blog about drawing and gave you a pdf of 40 everyday things to draw. Now here's the next list...getting bit more challenging this time. My sketchbooks are so precious to me; a visual diary, a series of experiments, a travel log.... the list goes on. But you have to do a lot a drawing before you'll be happy with your sketches. You've got to practice. My list of things to draw will help you keep up with your practice and will help you gain the confidence to draw the things you really want to draw! I adore drawing our magnolia tree in the garden. It clearly makes the end of winter, the start of warmer days. It doesn't blossom for very long and so it feels very important to capture its beauty while you have the chance. One of the best things about being able to draw is taking your sketchbook on holiday and receding the wonderful things you see. If makes sure you give yourself a bit of time to sit and look. I love it. Its worth the hours of drawing every day things, so be able to draw the exciting things. So if you want to get practising, honing your skills for the next holiday. Sign up to my FREE member's page where you can find a handy pdf to print off and get drawing. You'll automatically have access to the first list too!
