A month of colour - day 22

Day 22- Brown. This mixed media piece demonstrates how Venice can show you bright blues and turquoises alongside mucky browns. It's an extraordinary place. The painting is much messier that my usual style but I think it captures the sensation of travelling along a dark canal, emerging into the bright sunlight beyond.
