Timelapse painting of pheasants

6/3/2018

I really love painting pheasants. Their feathers  are extraordinarily vibrant. Sometime pheasants hop about in our garden, and even strut about on the little wall outside my studio, looking inside to find out what I'm up to. Either that or he's looking at his own reflection! This is oil on linen, with a little hint of pearl dust and gold dust to help capture the iridescent  feathers.
